I have this character I keep coming back to. I've drawn them a thousand different ways because they're basically me or all the versions of me, anyway. When I'm happy, they're happy. When I'm struggling, they're struggling. Sometimes they're just tired and closing their eyes to block everything out.

I call them Echoes because that's what they are. A reflection. Not some polished version of myself, just what's actually happening inside.

Most of my work is about feelings that don't have easy names. The kind of loneliness you feel even when you're around people. The small moments that hit harder than they should. The stuff we all experience but nobody really talks about.

I make these pieces because I need to. And then I put them out into the world hoping someone else will see themselves in them. That's the whole point, really. It starts with me being honest about what I'm feeling, and then it becomes something that belongs to anyone who looks at it and thinks, "Yeah. That's me too."
